Remote Services

Working Online or by Phone

I offer counselling and psychotherapy online via video call or over the phone to adults across the uk, depending on what feels more comfortable and accessible for you.  I have completed specialist training in remote therapy and have worked extensively in this way.

I understand that some people may prefer the idea of meeting face-to-face – it can feel more personal, and it’s often what we’re used to imagining when we think of therapy. That said, working remotely offers its own unique benefits, and many clients find it just as effective and meaningful as in-person sessions.  For some, particularly those living with chronic illness, disability, caring responsibilities, or anxiety about leaving home, remote therapy can make accessing support feel more manageable and sustainable.

Remote therapy can give you:

  • Greater flexibility with timing and location
  • Comfort of being in your own familiar environment
  • Access if you’re living in a remote area, have mobility considerations, or a busy schedule
  • Support that fits around the realities of chronic illness or disability, including fatigue, pain, fluctuating symptoms, medical appointments, or days when leaving home feels particularly difficult
  • Continuity even during travel or life transitions

Whether we speak on a video call or over the phone, I ensure the same depth of attention, care, and confidentiality in every session. What matters most is the quality of the therapeutic relationship – and that can be built just as strongly from a distance.

If you’re unsure whether remote therapy is right for you, I’m happy to talk it through and help you decide what feels best.
